Schedule:
- 7AM 7PM
- Full time
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call duties
What youll bring:
- RN license in the state of employment or compact
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- Epic EMR experience a must
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- One year of experience in telemetry or a related nursing specialty is preferred
Your key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, deliver routine and complex care, and collaborate with the healthcare team on long-term patient goals
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols, monitoring patient responses
- Thoroughly document care delivery, medication administration, and patient histories
- Address diverse psychological, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and their families
- Participate in patient education and support for families and caregivers
- Mentor and precept new staff as appropriate; complete competency validation and annual verifications
- Operate within nursing standards and hospital protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance
