Job Description

Contribute vital expertise and compassion as a registered nurse providing care for cardiac and telemetry patients. In this full-time role, youll deliver exceptional nursing services on night shifts, focusing on assessment, intervention, and patient education in a dynamic environment dedicated to high-quality care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • No on-call requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of employment or compact license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA (required)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months in a telemetry setting (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Experience with cardiac and telemetry patient care; this is not a stepdown unit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently deliver routine and complex care to cardiac and telemetry patients, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1-6:1
  • Apply the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for each assigned patient
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring outcomes and documenting all relevant information accurately
  • Respond to and support the complex psychological, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and their families
  • Collaborate with and delegate responsibilities to other care providers to ensure the best clinical outcomes
  • Assess patient education needs and provide tailored information and resources
  • Complete all required orientation, onboarding, and annual competency validations
