Job Description

Advance your nursing career in a dynamic telemetry unit providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac and telemetry needs. A growing healthcare team is seeking registered nurses for multiple openings, offering challenging and rewarding full-time contract roles with the possibility to transition to a permanent position.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, 7:00am 7:00pm
  • Day shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (in the state of employment or compact)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • Minimum of one year experience in a related specialty (preferred)
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and delegation skills
  • Comfortable caring for patients with complex cardiac and telemetry needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Provide both routine and complex care, prioritizing patient safety and outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, diligently monitoring patient response
  • Respond to the holistic needs of patients and familiespsychological, cultural, and educational
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Consistently maintain accurate patient documentation
  • Mentor and precept new hires or less experienced staff as assigned
  • Ensure completion of all competency validation and onboarding/training requirements
