Advance your nursing career in a dynamic telemetry unit providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac and telemetry needs. A growing healthcare team is seeking registered nurses for multiple openings, offering challenging and rewarding full-time contract roles with the possibility to transition to a permanent position.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 7:00am 7:00pm
- Day shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active RN license (in the state of employment or compact)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum of one year experience in a related specialty (preferred)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and delegation skills
- Comfortable caring for patients with complex cardiac and telemetry needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Provide both routine and complex care, prioritizing patient safety and outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, diligently monitoring patient response
- Respond to the holistic needs of patients and familiespsychological, cultural, and educational
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Consistently maintain accurate patient documentation
- Mentor and precept new hires or less experienced staff as assigned
- Ensure completion of all competency validation and onboarding/training requirements
