Schedule/Hours:

• Every other weekend (EOW)
• Every other holiday (EOH)

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proficiency in working with cardiac monitoring equipment and electronic health records
• Compassionate approach to patient care with an ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips, recognizing abnormalities and responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications accurately
• Document care, interventions, and patient responses using electronic health records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding care plans and clinical updates
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout the treatment process
• Uphold best practices in infection control and patient safety in accordance with facility policies
