Unit Snapshot:
- Neuro Trauma Telemetry (36 beds, 70 staff members)
- Modern equipment, including Kangaroo Pumps
- Meditech/CPN EMR system
- 10th floor in a well-appointed facility
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, night shifts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care hospital Telemetry RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong, positive attitude with exceptional patient care focus
- Engaged and adaptable personality
Preferred Experience:
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Previous assignments in large trauma or teaching facilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-level nursing care in a collaborative environment
- Handle complex procedures such as medication drips, bubble studies, and EEGs
- Support patient recovery and safety with best-practice interventions
- Communicate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and high patient satisfaction
