Step into a dynamic role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry care, where you will provide essential monitoring and nursing support for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. This contract opportunity allows you to use your critical thinking and advanced assessment skills in a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Specialized experience in Telemetry nursing, including arrhythmia monitoring and rapid patient assessment
- Strong clinical judgment and familiarity with telemetry equipment
- Proven ability to manage complex medication and treatment regimens
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly identify and act on cardiovascular changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and adjust individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding hospital procedures, diagnoses, and ongoing cardiac health
- Document patient progress, interventions, and responses with accuracy and attention to detail
- Respond effectively to emergencies, applying advanced cardiac life support measures as needed
- Ensure safety, comfort, and advocacy for each patient under your care
