Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in both Telemetry and Med-Surg settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to document care accurately
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and providing focused patient assessments
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and adept at working within interdisciplinary teams

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule and shift details will be discussed during the interview process to ensure alignment with facility needs and candidate preferences

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and care for patients on Telemetry and Med-Surg units, including those with complex comorbidities
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies
• Interpret EKG readings and respond effectively to cardiac events or changes in status
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, ancillary staff, and patients families
• Document clinical findings, nursing interventions, and patient progress in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on care protocols, discharge instructions, and health management strategies
• Uphold protocols for patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives

$2,861 - $3,016/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
