Youll care for patients on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit, honing your expertise in telemetry and advanced cardiac care. Working in this environment not only boosts your resume but also provides unparalleled exposure to complex cardiac cases and modern telemetry equipment. Its an excellent opportunity to refine your cardiac skills and learn from dedicated teams with strong cardiology backgrounds.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry or cardiac care setting
  • Strong skills in reading telemetry strips and performing cardiac drips
  • Experience with post cath care (PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation)
  • Familiarity with TR bands and femoral approaches
  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult cardiac patients
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips accurately
  • Manage patients on cardiac drips and post-cardiac intervention care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain safe RN-to-patient ratios (days 1:5, nights 1:6)
