Working on the Telemetry unitcaring for patients with diverse cardiac needs (not a stepdown unit)youll gain hands-on experience managing routine and complex cases, enhancing your clinical acumen and rounding out your resume with new competencies.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (7A-7P)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties

Qualifications:

• Current RN License (state of employment or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Commitment to ongoing education and participation in orientation/residency programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (5:1 to 6:1 patient ratio)
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effects, and document thoroughly
• Identify psychosocial needs and offer education and resources to patients and families
• Follow established protocols while demonstrating sound clinical judgment and leadership
• Participate in professional development and competency programs
