Schedule:

• 7AM 7PM
• Full time
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit) by practicing independently and utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications/treatments according to protocols and diligently monitor for effectiveness and side-effects.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, and cultural patient needs.
• Engage in clear, accurate documentation of symptoms, interventions, and care.
• Provide educational support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Delegate responsibilities to appropriately manage patient care and support unit flow.
• Meet all organizational competency, orientation, and ongoing validation requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• One year of relevant RN experience in cardiac/telemetry preferred.
• Commitment to completing all onboarding, orientation, and annual competency processes.
