During your assignment, youll care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not stepdown), utilizing Epic and getting hands-on with todays leading technology. Schedule/Hours
- Days: 7AM 7PM
- Full-time
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
Key Qualifications
- Active RN license (state of employment or compact)
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- One year of experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for telemetry and cardiac patients using the full nursing process
- Assess and address complex psychological, cultural, and social patient needs
- Administer and monitor medications, observing for side effects and treatment effectiveness
- Accurately document patient care, history, and symptoms
- Educate patients and families, tailoring your approach to individual needs
- Participate in ongoing skills and competency validation, including orientation and annual evaluations
