Advance your nursing career by delivering care to patients on a dedicated cardiac and telemetry unit. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where your skills and compassionate approach will make a significant impact. The unit is not a stepdown unit and serves a variety of cardiac and telemetry patients.

Schedule:

• 7AM 7PM, days
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state or compact eligible
• BLS certification from AHA, required
• ACLS certification from AHA, required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least one year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently provide direct patient care, managing both routine and complex cases
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitor responses
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, and care provided
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health issues and resources
• Delegates and makes assignments appropriately within the clinical team

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire (for new hires)
• Participate in thorough onboarding, skill validation, and ongoing annual competency checks
• Newly licensed RNs may take part in a residency or structured orientation with preceptor support
