This assignment places you in a respected 24-bed medical cardiology unit, presenting opportunities to collaborate with leading clinicians and expand your skillset in a renowned healthcare setting. Youll not only enhance your critical competencies, such as telemetry interpretation and advanced cardiac monitoring, but also gain exposure to innovative clinical practices and diverse leadership techniques, increasing your versatility as a nursing professional.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience with a strong cardiac focus
  • Expertise in telemetry and cardiology, including post-cath care for PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation procedures, TR Band, and femoral approach
  • Proven ability to accurately interpret telemetry strips and administer cardiac drips

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population in a busy medical cardiology unit
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips with precision
  • Safely perform and titrate cardiac drips per protocol
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide post-cath care, manage device implants, and oversee vascular access sites
