A Registered Nurse with expertise in telemetry care is needed for a travel assignment in Ballwin, MO. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure safe, effective patient management throughout the shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing the Nursing Process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
- Demonstrating leadership by anticipating patient care needs and prioritizing tasks.
- Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Delegating and supervising nursing staff based on their skill levels.
- Managing patients with ventilator and tracheostomy care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license.
- Two to five years of clinical experience in telemetry nursing.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications, both from the American Heart Association.
- Proven vent/trach experience essential for this assignment.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
