Professionally, youll thrive on a dynamic Neuro Trauma Telemetry unit, caring for a diverse patient population with state-of-the-art resources such as Kangaroo Pumps and a modern EMR system (Meditech/CPN). Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00PM 7:00AM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care on a 36-bed, neuro-trauma focused telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage medication drips, perform bubble studies, and assist with EEGs.
- Collaborate with a robust team of RNs and patient care techs (7 RNs, 3 techs per night) and contribute to an engaging and supportive work culture.
- Document and communicate patient status effectively using Meditech/CPN.
- Prioritize safety, teamwork, and quality outcomes across every shift.
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH stroke certification, prior Meditech experience, and prior travel RN background preferred
- Positive, flexible attitude and strong patient care focus
