Step into a dynamic Telemetry environment focused on providing excellence in patient care. This contract opportunity calls for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in telemetry to deliver compassionate care and demonstrate critical thinking in a collaborative setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7 PM 7 AM

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical background in telemetry nursing
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath recovery
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR, PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Familiarity with procedures such as central line monitoring, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, engaged attitude
• Independent work style and robust critical thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients in a 37-bed telemetry unit
• Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team, including RNs, patient care technicians, and unit clerks
• Manage and document patient care using advanced technology and electronic records
• Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions, especially those recovering from heart catheterization procedures
• Adhere to established unit policies, protocols, and quality standards
