Requirements for Success:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Telemetry (RN-Tele) setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong ability to interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating telemetry monitoring equipment and documenting accurately
- Proficiency collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessments and monitoring for patients requiring continuous cardiac observation
- Recognize and respond swiftly to changes in patients conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following hospital procedures
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and shift reports
- Work closely with physicians and support staff to plan and implement patient care strategies
- Educate patients and families about care plans and ongoing health needs
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety measures
