A Registered Nurse with Telemetry and LTAC experience is needed for a travel assignment in Arnold, MO. This role demands clinical expertise and leadership to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting specializing in long-term acute care and telemetry services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Missouri RN or multi-state RN license (must be attached to application)
- Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (attachments required)
- Two to five years of nursing experience, preferably in LTAC or telemetry
- Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and supervise nursing staff effectively
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care following the Nursing Process and hospital policies
- Plan and anticipate patient care needs with a focus on safety and quality outcomes
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate and oversee patient care duties among assigned personnel
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state Nurse Practice Act
