This contract position is ideal for a Registered Nurse who excels in monitoring, assessment, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex cardiovascular and telemetry needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of one year experience in a Telemetry or Progressive Care environment.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac rhythms and strong critical thinking abilities.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for a diverse adult population requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered.
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, care processes, and at-home care instructions.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prioritize patient safety and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols.
