With 36 beds and a collaborative team, youll engage closely with seasoned professionals, learn the latest in neuro-tele care, and develop leadership skills as you manage diverse patient cases. This experience will elevate your clinical practice and round out your nursing career.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, night shift
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care telemetry nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong patient care focus and adaptability
- Positive, engaged, and collaborative attitude
- NIH Stroke Scale and prior Meditech experience are highly desirable
- Previous experience in large trauma facilities is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to neuro trauma and telemetry patients
- Administer medication drips, manage bubble studies and EEGs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Meditech/CPN
- Support patient education and advocate for patient dignity and safety
- Adapt to the latest technologies, including Kangaroo Pumps
