The telemetry unit boasts 37 beds and a dedicated staff of registered nurses, patient care technicians, and support personnel, ensuring a balanced patient-to-nurse ratio (including 1:4 for Heart Cath patients). State-of-the-art equipment, such as PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes, as well as a Meditech EMR system, support your clinical expertise.

Schedule:

• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must-have)
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies
• Excellent critical thinking skills, independence, and a positive, engaged attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients
• Monitor and manage patients post-heart catheterization, including bubble studies
• Administer and monitor medication drips and central lines
• Work with the team to maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology to provide precise care
• Accurately document care activities using Meditech EMR
