This travel nursing role specializes in Cardiac and Telemetry care (not a stepdown unit), providing the chance to develop expertise in complex patient management and optimize your assessment and intervention skills. Exposure to new protocols and interdisciplinary teamwork not only enhances your resume, but also broadens your ability to adapt to a variety of clinical environments.
Schedule:
- 7AM 7PM shifts
- Full-time
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in state of employment or compact
- BLS and ACLS certification from the AHA
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver care and manage a 5:16:1 nurse/patient ratio
- Employ the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Manage routine and complex cardiac/telemetry cases, administering treatments and medications
- Use critical thinking to address the needs of patients and families
- Educate patients and caregivers; document care comprehensively
- Meet annual and ongoing competency requirements
