This travel nursing role specializes in Cardiac and Telemetry care (not a stepdown unit), providing the chance to develop expertise in complex patient management and optimize your assessment and intervention skills. Schedule:

• 7AM 7PM shifts
• Full-time
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in state of employment or compact
• BLS and ACLS certification from the AHA
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver care and manage a 5:16:1 nurse/patient ratio
• Employ the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Manage routine and complex cardiac/telemetry cases, administering treatments and medications
• Use critical thinking to address the needs of patients and families
• Educate patients and caregivers; document care comprehensively
• Meet annual and ongoing competency requirements
