Schedule & Hours

  • 7PM 7AM, full time
  • Night shift
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements

Role Overview Deliver top-tier care in a Telemetry unit with a cardiac focus (not stepdown), managing patient ratios of 5:16:1, depending on staffing. The position is ideal for registered nurses seeking to broaden their expertise in telemetry and cardiac care, while collaborating closely with skilled teams and supportive management.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in the state of employment or compact state
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum one year experience in telemetry or related specialty preferred
  • Experience with cardiac patients strongly valued
  • All newly hired nurses must complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days, and participate in dedicated preceptorship and competency programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently practice all aspects of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and interventions following facility protocols
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient status
  • Address complex emotional, psychological, and cultural patient needs
  • Educate patients and families using evidence-based resources and communication
  • Provide delegation and support as needed to optimize care delivery
