Schedule:
- 7AM 7PM
- Days, full-time
- Every other weekend rotation
- No on-call requirement
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license in state of employment or compact
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least 1 year in a related specialty (telemetry or cardiac) preferred
- EPIC experience required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver care for cardiac and telemetry patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Manage and delegate care efficiently with a 5:1-6:1 nurse/patient ratio
- Administer medications/treatments per protocol, monitoring effects
- Address the psychological, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and their families
- Complete and maintain thorough documentation
- Educate patients and families, identifying individual needs and available resources
- Complete orientation and annual competency requirements, with mentoring and competency assessments provided
