Step into an impactful nursing role dedicated to cardiac and telemetry patients. This opportunity offers a full-time contract assignment for Registered Nurses committed to delivering exceptional care in a dynamic environment. Youll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to patient recovery and overall unit success.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, day shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call duties
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least one year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred (but not required)
- Successful completion of organizational orientation and competency validation
- Strong communication skills and an ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for cardiac and telemetry patients in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, create individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments, vigilantly monitoring for effects
- Document patient history, progress, and care thoroughly and accurately
- Support patients and families, addressing complex psychological, cultural, and emotional needs
- Deliver patient and caregiver education, collaborating to identify resources and learning needs
- Delegate appropriately and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
