Job Description

A skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry is needed to provide expert patient care in a fast-paced medical setting. This role requires clinical independence, sound judgment, and the ability to manage both routine and complex patient needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry nursing, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to delegate tasks efficiently to support excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience preferred
  • Current RN license in New Mexico or compact license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only) required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for nursing care
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and efficacy
  • Document patient history, symptoms, treatments, and responses accurately
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers tailored to individual needs
  • Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social aspects impacting patient care
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities in self-management and collaboration with healthcare team members

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
