Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent experience on a Telemetry unit
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring, identifying arrhythmias, and responding to emergencies
- Strong understanding of evidence-based telemetry nursing protocols
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and compassionate patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly recognizing changes in patient status
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for complex patients with cardiac conditions
- Safely administer medications and manage IV drips, titrating as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, updating physicians with critical findings
- Educate and support patients and their families, explaining treatment plans and procedures
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies
- Participate in shift handoffs and unit meetings to ensure continuity and quality of care
