Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Shifts based on facility needs (details available upon request)
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year of stepdown/progressive care experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Sound interpersonal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in dynamic situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in the stepdown unit
- Monitor patients progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Administer medication and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients and families on care and recovery protocols
