An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with stepdown or med-surg telemetry skills to work in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract position offers the chance to apply your expertise in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry acute care environments. You will be placed where your skills are most needed, whether it be on a PCU, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry unit, providing flexible and diverse clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring stepdown or acute care services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes in condition promptly.
- Float within your skill set to different units onsite or to nearby locations within a 40-mile radius as needed.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry acute care.
- Proficiency in stepdown nursing or related skill set.
- Flexibility to work in different clinical units and nearby sites.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
