Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Stepdown or progressive care experience
- Strong ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to Stepdown unit patients with varying acuity
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medication, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and discharge instructions
- Uphold hospital safety and infection control standards
