Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; flexible scheduling
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent Stepdown (progressive care/telemetry) experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Collaborative, positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill or recovering patients in a fast-paced Stepdown unit
- Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and families on individualized care plans
- Administer medications and therapies with precision and empathy
- Contribute to and prioritize a safe, patient-focused environment
