Schedule:
- Rotating shifts with a requirement of 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts over a 6-week schedule
Qualifications:
- Current RN license, with 2+ years of recent nursing experience
- Proven competency in trach care and experience with chest tubes
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Previous Cerner EMR experience
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients in a 23-bed stepdown and 16-bed med-surg unit
- Provide specialized care for trach and chest tube patients, perform wound dressing changes, and manage cardiac drips and stable vented patients
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
- Float as needed to other med-surg and progressive care units
- Adhere to unit guidelines, hospital protocols, and wear navy blue scrubs
