Schedule/Hours:
- Contract assignment
- Full-time hours, variable shifts based on department needs
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum one year of recent stepdown or progressive care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record systems
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions transitioning from intensive care
- Monitor, assess, and record patient vitals, symptoms, and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies while adhering to infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on condition management, recovery expectations, and care procedures
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
