Step into a crucial role providing specialized care for patients in a fast-paced stepdown environment. As an RN supporting a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit, youll use your telemetry skills and progressive care expertise to monitor patients who require close observation and short-stay management. This position features direct collaboration with a dedicated team, working together to deliver compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call shifts
Role Requirements:
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated telemetry competency
- Progressive care experience essential
- Recent experience in progressive or stepdown care setting strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on nursing care to a diverse population of medical-surgical and stepdown patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status utilizing telemetry and bedside monitoring equipment
- Participate in daily patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with charge RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Float to other units within the facility as needed
- Maintain compliance with all protocols, policies, and infection-prevention guidelines
- Wear prescribed navy or white scrub attire
