Schedule/Hours:

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown setting, monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient families to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patients for changes in status, promptly reporting any concerns
• Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing care needs and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions
• Comply with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
