Youll be central to a multidisciplinary care team, working closely with patients who need intermediate care following critical illness, surgery, or injury.

Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care environment
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt quickly to changing patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of stepdown patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Accurately document patient progress and update care records
• Educate patients and families on ongoing care needs, procedures, and recovery pathways
• Respond swiftly and effectively to changes in patient condition
