Hours/Schedule:
- 48-hour contract
- Flexible scheduling to maximize work-life balance
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of stepdown unit experience
- Current ACLS/BLS certifications
- Proven skill working with Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, T2DM, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage care for 4 patients per shift in a 16-20 bed unit
- Monitor and respond to complex clinical situations
- Collaborate with physicians and other allied professionals to optimize outcomes
- Deliver evidence-based care in high-acuity scenarios
- Provide thorough patient and family education
