Through this travel assignment, youll be immersed in a dynamic environment managing a variety of complex cases such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, substance abuse complications, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The hands-on experience you gain here will broaden your skill set while enhancing your adaptability and clinical intuition.

Schedule/Hours:
- 48 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a stepdown or similar acute care setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience caring for patients with diverse medical conditions, including those listed above
- Excellent assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care of 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 16-20 bed medical stepdown unit
- Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage acute changes in condition
- Administer medications and provide advanced interventions when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families for optimal outcomes and discharge planning
