This travel RN opportunity is based within a dynamic 28-bed PCU/IMCU unit specializing in cardiac care for STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac thoracic surgery, and chest pain patients. Exposure to a specialized patient population and advanced cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors provides valuable clinical experience. - Shifts and hours to be discussed with interview
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in a similar-sized facility (PCU/IMCU)
- Documented progressive care (PCU) background
- Prior experience caring for cardiac/IMCU populations
- Familiarity with STEMI/NSTEMI, CTS, cardiac drips, and telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care for PCU patients with cardiac conditions
- Safely manage cardiac drips and monitor hemodynamic status
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Flexibly care for patients assigned to telemetry or lower acuity beds as needed
