A reputable healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support their Stepdown unit on a contract basis. Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position, full-time hours
• Varied shifts (day and night opportunities available)

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact license)
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Stepdown, Progressive Care, or Telemetry settings
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• EMR documentation experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients transitioning from critical to moderate acuity
• Closely monitor vital signs, lab values, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as outlined in patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinicians to coordinate quality care
• Educate patients and families on ongoing needs and care expectations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
