Schedule/Hours:

• Scheduled 36 hours per week (guaranteed)
• Work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements

Role Details: As a Cardiac Stepdown RN, youll manage a patient ratio of 4:1 and care for adults requiring specialized monitoring post-cardiac events. You will float within scope as needed, supporting the broader care team and broadening your expertise.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or similar stepdown nursing setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Not open to first-time travelers; travelers must have prior travel RN experience
• Pending licenses not accepted; active RN license required upon start
• Local candidates not eligible
• Must be flexible regarding block scheduling; week-long RTO not permitted and no RTO from 2/08/27 3/31/27 due to Epic Implementation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality cardiac stepdown care for patients, adhering to best practices and protocols
• Monitor, assess, and report on cardiac telemetry
• Administer medications, treatments, and promote recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Float to similar units as needed within your scope

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
