Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (details regarding shifts or specific scheduling will be provided during the hiring process)
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license, valid for MI
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for those transitioning from critical to general care
- Closely monitor patient conditions and intervene rapidly as necessary
- Administer medications, manage IV drips, and provide complex assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
- Support patient and family education, helping ease transitions with compassion
