Engaging in night shifts in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you'll enhance your professional skills by adapting to diverse workplace protocols, leadership techniques, and supportive nursing cultures. This opportunity not only broadens your clinical acumen but also enriches your rsum as you work with various patient populations and case complexities. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years Stepdown/PCU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based care to patients transitioning from intensive care
- Monitor and manage complex medical needs, including cardiac monitoring and advanced therapies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and fellow nurses
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the recovery process
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold rigorous safety standards
