Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Holiday shifts as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active KS RN or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent Critical Care/ICU experience
- Hands-on experience with CRRT, Bipaps, lab draws, chest tubes, PICCs, conducting own codes, and managing consults
- Must be comfortable floating to ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED with prior experience
- Strong autonomy; no vascular access team on site
- No new graduates accepted
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality stepdown and critical care for diverse patient populations
- Float as required to various inpatient units, responding to constantly changing patient needs
- Participate actively in codes and cross-unit consults
- Complete a comprehensive orientation program, including EMR Epic training
