Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Proficient assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
• Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities
• Comfortable adapting to fast-paced, high-acuity patient environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and manage stepdown patients health statuses and changes in condition
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multi-disciplinary team members
• Clearly document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Uphold strict infection control and safety standards
