Working as a Stepdown RN in a new location will expand your clinical expertise and expose you to advanced methodologies, fostering significant professional growth. Schedule/Hours:
- 36 - 48 hour contracts available
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown experience
- Proficiency in monitoring patients with complex health needs
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Stepdown unit patients
- Monitor and assess patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
- Ensure documentation meets all regulatory and facility standards
