An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown care, offering flexible contract hours in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring intermediate or step-down level care
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs and symptoms, to detect changes and ensure timely interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to all safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Experience in step-down nursing or intermediate care units preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and Easter holiday
- Willingness to commit to contracts ranging from 36 to 48 hours
Schedule:
- Every other weekend required
- Easter holiday required
- Contracts from 36 to 48 hours
