Step into a vital nursing role providing high-level care for patients transitioning from critical to general care. This position focuses on supporting post-ICU individuals within a dynamic, fast-paced stepdown unit. Youll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives attentive, individualized care throughout their recovery process.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Experience working in a stepdown, progressive care, or cardiac telemetry environment strongly preferred
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and managing complex medication regimens
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Comfortable using electronic medical records for documentation
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions post-ICU
• Administer and titrate medications, including cardiac drips
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health staff
• Provide discharge education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Accurately document care, interventions, and responses in EMR systems
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in handoff reporting and multidisciplinary rounds
