Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
  • Commitment to patient safety, collaboration, and compassionate care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, assess, and care for patients transitioning from intensive care
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor cardiac rhythms
  • Perform frequent, comprehensive physical assessments
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about the recovery process
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Accurately document care and respond swiftly to changes in patient status
  • Adhere to all policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
