Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year stepdown or progressive care unit experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Proven adaptability and sustained focus in rapidly changing clinical situations

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients transitioning from critical care, responding to changes promptly
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and provide advanced interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on ongoing care and recovery processes
• Accurately maintain patient records and ensure documentation aligns with clinical standards
